How can it be autumn already? It seems like the year is racing by. Winter is still a wee way off, but now is the perfect time to start boosting your immune system in preparation. There are plenty of things you can do each day to help keep you fighting fit. Sleep is important for healing and regeneration, so aim for at least seven hours each night. Getting regular exercise and sunlight is also important for staying healthy. Studies suggest stress can lower your immunity, so why not try meditation or yoga to relax? And of course, eating a well-balanced diet that’s rich in fruit, veggies and whole grains, and low in saturated fats will help keep those annoying coughs, colds and sniffles at bay.
